Bonsai summer shade water

June 29, 2023

The end of rainy season, when the rainy season continues, is the hot season of hot sun. At this time, potted plant managers must pay close attention to the drastic changes in the environment, and often carefully observe the tiny changes in the leaf color of the bonsai plants and the dry and wet conditions of the basin soil, and carefully maintain them. It is very important for the bonsai to maintain a healthy state during this period. It should be reminded that such meticulous maintenance and management must persist until the beginning of September from the date of plum blossom.

Relieve the water absorption method of the basin soil drought: Once the basin soil appears drought phenomenon, the basin soil should be fully absorbed in time, usually with a watering pot with a showerhead fully drenched before and after the bonsai plants. Once a week, the bonsai is soaked in pots, buckets, or jars containing water to allow it to absorb enough water. This pelvic floor suction method is very effective for small bonsai. However, in the rain and continuous cloudy days, the pelvic floor should stop absorbing water. Watering in the evening not only requires pouring of potted soil, but also sprays the entire plant. Spraying leaves will not hurt the leaves. It can be carried out at any time during the day.

Shade points: For conifers and bonsai trees to be exhibited in the early fall, care must be taken to prevent the leaves from burning. The main reason for the burning of bonsai plants leaves is the direct sun in the hot sun on the day after the plum or after continuous rain. At this time, the bonsai should be temporarily displaced under a shaded environment, such as under the shade of a tree or in the shadow of a building. This is a very effective method for preventing leaf burn. Care should be taken not to allow the bonsai plants to be placed in the sheds throughout the summer, otherwise they will grow too weak due to lack of light.

Summer can not be fertilized: bonsai plants in the midsummer period, weak root activity, in principle, should not be fertilized.
